Former Maysville Mayor dies after long battle with illness

Frost died February 22 at CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern at the age of 87.Frost was a World War II veteran and has a park in Maysville named after him.According to his obituary, his funeral will be held this Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Maysville with interment following at White Oak Cemetery.Frost leaves behind his wife, two sons and two daughters.
